Marky Ramone Plays Albox Rock
Marky Ramone will be playing Albox Rock on the opening night of the annual Albox fiesta Feria de los Santos. The concert will take place in the Albox fair grounds on the 31st of October 2007. The following day is a national holiday, so no excuses not to let your hair down.
Marky, drummer of the legendary punk band The Ramones will be making a special tribute to his old band in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the release of their first album. Marky's line up will include singer David Brooks and many other friends from around the world. Their repertoire of 28 songs should go some way consoling those of us who were never lucky enough to be at one of the original Ramone's concerts.
This is sure to be one of those special concerts that you don't want to miss. Word has it that the entire concert is to be recorded (both audio and video), so there's no doubt that Marky & Cº will be giving it their all.
Backing up Marky Ramone & Friends are two other high powered punk-rock bands, Chamarreta and Los Cholas. This should be a night to remember.
