My friend lives in Las Pocicas, a tad north of Albox. We visit him twice aytear (for 12 years now) and nothing much has changed in that time.
This is a quiet rural area, there are UK expat societies and other organisations. There is not a lot to see around Albox, its castle was destroyed many years ago. If peace and quiet are what you seek, go ahead. If you crave nightlife and a busy 'scene' look elsewhere.
