Hello good people of Albox!

I've been looking for somewhere to holiday in the Albox area and came across a villa which suited my needs....

I contacted the owner through the listing website and she provided her name and bank details for the deposit.

No money has been exchanged yet but after googling the owner's name with "Albox" as the search term, I'm concerned the owners are the husband and wife team mentioned in this blog post from 2009...

Is it just a coincidence that the lady I've been in touch with has the same name or have I hit the nail on the head?

I wouldn't expect anyone to answer this first post of yours, in the way that you might hope, as it appears to have been made with the intention of troublemaking.

You may well be right about the replies but I dare say if the owners are indeed the couple who caused so much upset in the area several years back, there is bound to be someone who can confirm this one way or the other.

Your reply has certainly added to my doubts about the legitimacy of the rental anyway and I doubt I'll be taking the risk.

Shame really, as it's a great villa!
