Depending on whether you can get into the Spanish Health Service they do have English speaking doctors in Albox Medical Centro.

If you need an Interpreter for Huercal Overa Hospital visits make a note of Mary Williams 661 079 985 or 645 086 476 Williamsmary62@yahoo.es.

I don't know about Spanisch but there used to be Spanish Classes at what was Laura's Tea Shoppe and is now the Rambla cafe on Saturday mornings.

We are looking to rent a rural finca near Albox. Reading through this thread it seems to be just the right place for us and our spanish pets. We've found some nice properties on the internet. But at the moment we are still in the UK.
One is a finca in "la Ramblica, a lane off Rambla de Oria". We wanted to look it up on google maps but there are no road names. Could anyone help and tell us where la Ramblica is? Perhaps someone can give us the coordinates (google map, right click on road, what's here) Thank you

Sounds about right. Fuente de las Mercedes is here http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&sour...,0.003449&z=18 which is about 5 minutes away. There are few other fountains on the Rambla though.
