Gas Warning

I had two Spainsh guys claiming to be from a gas company and wanted to check out my installation. They showed ID etc. Not sure what they wanted but I told them to do one, and they drove off at speed. Be warned this is a scam of sorts. Again, only two weeks ago two more different people saying they were from Repso, same thing as before, told them to piss off also. Take care.

This is a scam and has been going on and off for a number of years . Apparently these guys do have identification as they work for a gas company however they are using them fraudulently as they are not acting on behalf of their employers but on the side conning people into paying out for things like inspections that they are told was required then charging ridiculous amounts of money for any work or materials such as new pipes or regulators . The best thing to do is ask for their details and tell them you will phone the company they work for to verify their claims , they wont stay around long .

Don't let them into your house,

You go in and get your Camera and start taking photos of them and their Van - you will find they will go very quickly.
