PP Candidate meets with owners of houses threatened by demolition

The PP candidate, Immaculada del Aguila visits the homes of families living without electricity and water in Albox

On Monday February 7, the populist candidate Inmaculada del Aguila visited some of the houses in our town that lack basic services and water, and in many cases are threatened with demolition orders.

During the visit, which lasted over three hours, the popular candidate found the conditions in which many families live, with only 4 hours of light and running water a day, produced by a generator that runs on diesel fuel and costing more than 6000 euros per year, which, is often very difficult to cope with.

The popular group was very sensitive to the situations of many families who say they are living a nightmare after having spent all their life savings on a house and have put all their hopes in a better place to live. Inmaculada del Aguila said that "it is unacceptable that families have to live in such extreme situations, without light and water and under constant threat to demolish their house"

The visit focused on the Aljambra area and shortly the Popular candidate plans to visit to other areas affected, "I know first hand the real situation of all affected neighbours and I offer my commitment to work together to find a quick solution to this big problem, "said Inmaculada del Aguila.

After several meetings with platform Abusos Urbanisticos Almanzora-No, the Popular Party has pledged to work together and smoothly with this group to find temporary solutions to the most serious problems, such as essential services, electricity and water, until you reach the final solution of this problem with the legal reform of existing standards of urban and territorial planning, which will occur very soon when the Popular Party is governing in the Junta de Andalucia.

This group has expressed frustration at the lack of help received from the council and who have been waiting many years for a response that never comes, and as time passes more demolition orders arrive. In this regard Inmaculada del Aguila was very strong in qualifying for no management team by the socialist government of Albox, stating that "in four years they have completely ignored this problem and now, as an electioneering trick, the Mayor has visited the Junta de Andalucia in Sevilla and says they will be visiting us soon, they say that now they are near the solution, and the PP have to say that the solution is to walk around less and work more."

These neighbours have said they felt deceived and invisible by the PSOE. Four years ago they promised to solve their problems in a period of 6 months from when they won the election, and yet have had no response and have often tried to meet with Mayor of Albox to discuss these issues, but in these 4 years that has proved impossible.

Likewise, the Popular Party demands greater policing in the area of these homes, as expressed by neighbours, living in fear and under constant threat, because in recent months their have been frequent robberies in their homes.

Finally, Inmaculada del Aguila wanted to recognize the importance of this group for the municipality "Together we will solve this problem and together we will restore confidence in Albox" del Aguila ended.
