car trouble

hi, we have a renault meagne scenic, does any one know what you call the plastic trim on the roof? ( where the roof rack goes if needed) ours has fell off does anyone know how to put it back on? it is one length of plastic with white clips inside that move we can see how these fit in place but when p;laced on the roof there is no way of sliding them into a locking position!!! any ideas greatfully recieved thanks :confused:

If you go to the Renault Garage near to the Bowling Alley and explain your problem - you may find they will do it for you at no charge - I have had lots of little jobs similar to this done at various garages - where the answer was so simple - yet I was looking for a major solution - and it was done so quickly it was not worth them charging.

thanks for the advice i happened to be near albox the other day and popped into the renault garage and they fixed the problem quick smart and no charge happy times:D
