Found on the road to Santo Petar last night, very nearly caused a nasty accident. A bit thin, but generally in good condition. Appears to be used to traveling in a vehicle. A very recognisable and quite a rare dog... will be getting him scanned for microchip and hope to trace owner. If you do recognise him, please let us know so we can get him back to where he belongs... hopefully...

What a handsome chap. Unfortunately hunting dog seem to get dumped/lost quite a lot, if he was Spanish owned, the chances of a chip are sadly, quite remote.
If you can't find the owner, looks like you'll have a really wonderful addition to your family?

Good luck with your quest.

Yes... I know.. not a good situation around here for waifs and strays. He's a very nice dog that deserves a good home.

Just an update... after quite a lot of veterinary treatment for an upset tummy, he is now putting on weight and doing very well indeed. He does not unfortunately get on with out cats, so he is looking for a new home. He has a very friendly personality, loves a ride in the car, and would make a great pet. He will need a bit of extra training, though!

If anyone could offer a caring long-term home, please let us know.

He's still here, and now thinks he owns the place....

:D

No longer needs a home, as he now has one with us.
