Just to let you all know,
we are organising another art and craft fair in the Almanzora Palace in Almanzora this coming Sunday (May 31st)
There will be over 40 stalls ranging from ceramics, art, baked goods, jewellery, hand knitted goods, cards etc and the Spanish community are also involved. There will be live music and entertainment. Dan on his guitar, belly dancing and line dancing.
The event is to raise public awareness regarding the current state of the Palace and of course to raise funds towards the restoration project.
There are also four bars in the village which are all open for drinks and tapas.

Directions to the Palace.-there are three choices -
1. From the Post Office in Albox, follow the road out of the town. Cross over a bridge and follow the signs to La Malata and Almanzora.
2. On the main Huerca Overa to Baza road there is a green and yellow BP petrol station. Follow the road behind the BP station. Go past a pylon in the middle of the road. Take the next right hand turning. Follow this road up a small slope and around a sharp corner. Continue along this road until you come to a rambla. Cross diagonally left across the rambla and you will come to a road that leads into Almanzora.
3. On the main Huerca Overa to Baza road there is a green and yellow BP petrol station. Not long after passing the petrol station you will see a sign on the right hand side of the road to Almanzora. Follow this sign and you will cross over a bridge which will cross the road you have just come along and then follow the signs to La Malata and Almanzora.
On the main road through the village there is a Plaza. The Palace is on the far side of the Plaza.
