Escatura??

Hi, I have a relation living near ALBOX, they have property with no loan on it but they have said that their bank account has been frozen, they have Spanish residency and no loans linked to the property. The escatura? is in the process of being changed at Almeria. Could a bank freeze someones account if the escatura is not in place?? I would have thought that the bank would not have the power to do this? please advise. Thanks

I suggest that you have a read of THIS THREAD (http://www.alboxinfo.com/forums/showthread.php?t=263) started by ramblagirl a while back.
As it is not necessary to own a property to have a bank account, it is very likely that the escritura and freezing of the bank account are unrelated matters.
