Hello,

Did anyone else enjoy the series "The Restaurant", we found it most conducive to stimulating social intercourse and has changed our way of thinking upon dining out. We can't help but judge "front of house", how long the meals take...what a corking little program, hope there's to be a follow up.

Have to agree with you for once, a very clever bit of programming indeed, we always looked forward to the next episode, seemed to be a long wait Thursday to the following Wednesday, but always worth it.

Who would have thought that the 2 lads would ever make the final?

I think that the competition actually finished in July 2008 so it might not be long before there is a follow up.

We thought from about the 3rd show that it might have been those 2 who eventually won it, although, in the end, the 2 lads pushed them very close and the woman who won was a bit of a prima donna!:D

Brilliant programme, one of my favourites and feel sad it's finished. Hopefully there will be a 3rd series as it's so entertaining. I don't know where these people get their strength from to tackle the tasks they're given. I've enquired about purchasing a copy of the first and/or second series but unfortunately they don't do DVDs or tapes. My daughter and son-in-law were fascinated with it when they stayed recently, unfortunately they can't get the programme where they live so I was hoping for a copy to put in their Christmas stocking.
