Well, if the rest of the world could vote it the election would be pretty clear cut.
Check out these results of the If The World Could Vote (http://www.iftheworldcouldvote.com/results) site.

Oh Yes!!!
What a victory for Obama…
Read some posts from another forum about
the lack of substance in the speeches given
by Obama.
Well, some people are deaf or just did not
understand the difference between these
two candidates and their policies.
We shall see….

Hola,
Eric, are you saying that a deaf person wouldn't know that one was black and one was white?
Are you saying that they wouldn't notice that McCain has shorter arms than Obama?
G.Spot;)

What can i say but Congratulations :D and lets hope that Obama will not be inserted with a small chip (not a McCain chip) by those that manage his decisions and become a puppet as they tend to do -I do wonder how much of a President´s beliefs and opinions are allowed to influence decisions once they get into that big house ??
What do you think ?

Maybe I am a cynic, but I doubt if the "change" will be perceptible.

The fact that a black man has made it to the White House is in itself a significant change for America.
He fought a flawless campaign and he's shown he has the capacity to inspire both his own party and the general populace.
If his campaign is anything to go by, I would bet that we will indeed see big changes during his presidency.
Here's hoping..!
I do wonder how much of a President´s beliefs and opinions are allowed to influence decisions once they get into that big house ??
I think it depends on his leadership skills. If he's strong enough, and I think he will be, then hopefully he'll find a way to inspire others to implement his ideas, rather than it being the other way around.

Hello,
We, in our community, wonder if the poor fellow will even get to be president, you kill what you fear and what you fear, you don't understand.
Let's hope that we are wrong, many doors already seem to be opening for this man.
Rex.
