Has anyone out there tried the Italian restaurant in Albox?
If so, what was it like?

At the end of the original rambla bridge in Albox is a concrete statue of a woman.
The restaurant is in the old shoe shop which used to be opposite.
It was also a Brit enterprise for a short time.

Three of us went for a meal this evening (Sunday), booked for 7.30. It was very quiet until 9.00pm when five tables were suddenly taken - the Spanish obviously eat later than we tend to on Sunday!
There was only one other table in when we started; so it was no surprise that the service was excellent. Our server spoke good English, which did not help our attempts to order in Spanish, but it is nice to know any problems would be overcome. We had 3 glasses of wine (good sizes), 1 starter shared, 3 main courses, 3 sweets and 3 coffees: total was €54.60.
The food and ingredients were of excellent quality and the portions adequate, (although some might disagree). This will definitely become my favourite local eatery (Love Italian!) and hope to see many of you there in the future.
