What does everybody think of the RUN restaurant? Having come highly recomended we decided to give it a try. We found the waiting service very poor, not waiting till we had finished a course before clearing, and leaning all over the table when serving, and very pushy with drinks (are they on a bonus?) We found the meal very mediocre (nowhere near as good as the WOK restaurants and much dearer) and it was topped off with a sweet of frozen ice cream.......Not frozen and the batter uncooked (NICE!!!) I dont think we will be returning, and i shall warn my friends

Having been there a couple of times we found the service and food excellent. The quiet ambience was a pleasant change to the food scrum experience which prevails at the Wok. The young chap in RUN who served us was courteous and attentive without being overly so. It made a pleasant change from the other run-of-the-mill restaurants available to us in Albox. Would and have recommended it to all my friends.

Like any eating places in the Albox area what floats one persons boat doesn´t always do it for others.
My experience is to try yourself and if you like it go back and if not don`t.

Well said Ole!!! What i was trying to do was warn people that it was not as good as we were told. I for one am fed up with getting ripped off by couldnt care less people/places When we tried to complain about our meal to our waiter he strangely could not understand us in English, earlier trying to order drinks he could not understand Spanish!!!!!!!!
I THINK A CASE OF COULDNT CARE LESS

If you had bothered to enquire his history you would have found out that his first language is Greek. I'm sure that people generally react to the way they are treated and I said we had no problems there at all. As Ole said try it and make up your own mind.

Well, you asked what everybody thinks of the RUN. I generally do not enjoy Asian food (Indian excepted) and I hate the Chinese buffet style restaurants, with their mediocre quality foods served from troughs, and it took a lot of pressure from my wife to go to RUN - I was not looking forward to the experience.
We found the atmosphere and the decor pleasant and comfortable, and the interior not too noisy. The service was unobtrusive and attentive and the server very helpful (It was less than half full, maybe this can make a difference). We both had the taster menu and a bottle of wine; the wine I thought quite reasonable in price for its quality in a decent restaurant. The food was a revelation to me, beautifully prepared and enough of it.
The experience was one of the very best I have eating out in Spain: attentive service unlike anything a Spanish eatery has ever shown me; high quality food and very pleasant experience all round.
Highly recommended for people who care about their culinary experiences.

It's a shame as we too had the same first impression that this restuarant was going to be good, but appearances can be deceptive! Unfortunately the service was not as we had expected. We were continually hurried to order, even when part of our party was missing! Food was served haphazardly, part of the party had dishes and others were still waiting, this happened during each course! They even cleared our main course whilst 2 of the party were still eating and tried to remove the full side dishes. This is not what I would expect for good service, but they didn't seem too bothered about our experience!
