Sky + Box with a free Sat Card

Does anyone know if I use a Sky + Box with a free Sat Card will I be able to record programs on the Sky + box as I will not have a Sky+ subscription.

You will not be able to record using you Sky + box, unless you are paying for the privalidge. We have the same problem, Using a Sky + box.. but unable to record.
