Have you never heard of Sapnish? A lot of people speak it in our area after a few Tinto's;)

"Good Spanish" in Albox?!
You obviously haven't spoken to Spaniards from the bigger cities, like Barcelona, they are very dismissive of the Andaluz dialect. They dont consider it proper Spanish but very lazy.
However, as I pointed out while I lived in Albox, I live in Albox and have to be understood in Albox, therefore considered it better to speak like the locals. I dont know if they understood me all the time but generally speaking I didn't have too many problems.:)

I have been to Barcelona and Madrid and, well all over Spain really the only difficulty I encountered was the Basque country where I'm sure they spoke Russian!!!! I certainly sounded Russian. But dialect is a funny old thing. I cant for the life of me understand a strong Scottish accent or a broad northern Ireland accent. Northern accents are equally as difficult for some people to understand. As long as we communicate with each other that's all that counts I suppose.:D
