We are moving to Albox in early August and need to get our son into a Spanish school in Albox.
I believe there are 4 to choose from.
Any advice on the best one.
I believe the new term starts on 1st Setember.
Will 4 weeks give us enough time to get all the necessary forms/paperwork sorted out(as I have read it can take time) and find him a place at a school.
Any help would be great

September term starts on the 15th
The schools close in August but are normally open the week before the term restarts to register
Its just a matter of filling a form in - (if there is a place available)
You will need to give the school a copy of the child´s vaccinations
Have you read this thread

Hello
I have read that you have to fill in a form at the town hall and then take it somewhere else before then finding a school.
3 months has been quoted how long it will take.
Is this information wrong as you make the process seem very easy.
Filling in one form(where do I get this form from) and then speak to the scholl the week before 15th September.

Well things must have changed in the last 4 years cos all we did was go into the school, get the form, fill it in and take it back.
You have to take in proof from the town hall (padron) that you live in the area.
Maybe someone else can explain about registering for school via the town hall

Doesn´t look like anyone else can help my advice is -don´t panic, just move over and the week before term starts go and have a look at the schools see which one you like and ask to register.
I don´t know where the 3 months comes in - yes, you have to re-register your child , every year, before the end of the school year in June but there is nothing hard about the process just fill out the same form again.
The school will tell you if there is a place there and then.
The only thing I would say is that unless you can speak/understand Spanish you will need to take a Spanish speaking person with you as the English speaking "teacher" in the school may not be there.

If I were to hazard a guess, I would say yes, as English is on the curriculum from the age of 5.
Certainly used to be when we were there.
