Snow White and the 7 Vertically Challenged Men!

A Pantomime to be staged in Albox in January 2011

We are looking for a cast of children, adults, dancers, singers, circus skills and stage hands including scenery artists, wardrobe assistants, lighting and sound technicians. Everyone most welcome with these skills. Enthusiastic helpers are also required.

4.30pm Children’s Auditions (a short party piece would be helpful but not essential.) age up to 16.

6pm Auditions for role of Snow White

Must be able to sing!

7pm Adults auditions for other main character parts, and chorus (over 16’s!)

9pm Stage hands and other support skills

I thought this was a joke posting first of all - then I realised it was an attempt at being PC.

If so surely you are not allowed to call the lead character Snow ' White ' as this refers to her colour - I'm sorry this is not allowed.

I also hope the auditions for this part will not be limited to young Ladies as this will be sexist - again not allowed.

It also refers to vertically challenged ' Men ' again this is sexist ?

' Stage hands ' will stage feet be barred also ?
