My Advice Is To Take The Details Of The Vehicle To Your Local Policeman Or The Local Guardia, They Are Actively Dogs Trying To Clamp Down On Dogs Being Abandoned In Our Area Of Rambla De Oria And May Be You Local Area Is Trying To Do The Same. It Comes Under The Same Umbrella As Poisoning Of Dogs So Your Local Guardia Have The Ability To Trace The Vehicle And If You Have Witnesses Of When The Pups Were Dumpped Your Could Denounce The Owners. This Does Not Cost Anything And You Do Not Have To Go Through A Solicitor To Do It. Its Just A Statement That You Make To The Guardia And When They Type It Up You Sign It. If They Then Subsequently Find The Vehichle And Its Owners They Can Be Prosecuted, But I Must Stress That You Have To Have Witnesses And Take Them With You To Make Your Statement To The Guardia.
We Have Had A Small Chiwahwah And Two 4 Week Old Pups Dumped On Us But Never Saw Who Left Them. We Had Them Checked At The Vets To See If The Mum Was Chipped But She Was Not, If She Had Been We Could Then Trace The Owner And Denounce Them. I Checked With The Guardia To Make Sure That If We Kept The Dogs The Original Owner Could Not Come And Take Them Back If We Had Them Chipped And Vacinated (this Has Happened To A Friend Of Mine) But As There Was No Documentation Recorded We Were Safe To Keep Them. They Have Become A Much Loved Addition To Our Family. We Now Have 5 Dogs And 3 Cats. Good Look
