Hi, I have been told there are a number of car breakers between Albox and Oria but I've not been able to find any. Not sure what the Spanish for car breakers is or if its even directly translatable.
Any help would be appreciated. What I'm actually after is a pair of headlights off a 2003 (or thereabouts) Opel Corsa.
Many thanks

To get to the nearest one to Albox head out towards the ITV station - at the first new roundabout you come to - go all the way around and back towards Albox - because you have past it - but you cannot cross the road to get to it !
Now heading tpwards Albox if you look to your right you will see the high concrete wall which is supposed to hide the wrecks - the entrance is the first one you come to.
Another is on the Saliente road out of Albox approx 4 Klms from the town Centre again on the right - recognisible by a wreck on top of a tower about 30ft in the air.
Another is on the Oria road just about 1 Klm of the new road to Baza again on the Right ??? next to the Pool making company.
You may try Los Limpia Barrancos 662 288 169 they collect old wrecks ?

there has never been a breakers yard on the saliente road the car that was perched on top of a piece of marble was just a quirky thing!!

Cantabrian,
When we first came out here 10 years ago that car on the marble plinth was surrounded by 100's of wrecked cars - so I naturally assumed it was a breakers yard ?????

sorry to correct you but there never was 100,s of wrecks it is just a sand and stone yard the car on the plinth was a fiat, the pieces of iron-work laying around came from the large cave on the right of the oria rambla going into albox
